Chicago Architect Presents New Chicago Housing
Online
Chicago Architect magazine kicks off a new program series that brings the magazine articles to life! The first issue of 2021 highlights several new housing projects in Chicago that emphasize affordability, accessibility, and sustainability.
The program brings together the architects, designers, and advocates behind three projects that address new housing typologies in Chicago:
- Emmett Street Apartments: Pete Landon, FAIA, Landon Bone Baker Architects, joined by Alderman Carlos Ramirez-Rosa (Ward 35).
- Home First Accessible Renovations: Elizabeth Godbold, AIA, WJW Architects, joined by Dena Bell, lead developer at IFF (a provider of financing and real estate development by Midwest nonprofits).
- New Modular Housing: Paul Tebben, AIA, Kinexx.
Join Chicago Architect magazine and AIA Chicago for this inaugural magazine launch panel discussion.
