Gen Z and the Future of Workplace
Date & Time : Oct. 11 @ 6pm-7pm
AIA Chicago Office: 35 E Wacker Drive, Suite 250, Chicago, IL
Generation Z is the future of our firms-- but who are they? What do they want out of their careers? The recent emergence of Gen-Z into the workforce is shifting long-accepted behaviors and assumptions between employers and employees, creating new expectations for both culture and the workplace. Join us for an up-close discussion with a diverse panel of Gen-Z emerging professionals as we find out who they are, what they prioritize, and how they're transforming the workplace.
This panel will feature a moderated discussion that touches on topics of mental health, technology, flexibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Many of our panelists share the unique distinction of never having worked in a pre-pandemic office environment, and we'll see how that's shaped their outlook on office culture. By outlining preferences and behaviors of this new generation, we'll become more informed about the challenges facing future firms and understand the changes happening in our workplaces.
