Global sustainability leader and architect William McDonough, FAIA, Int. FRIBA, will discuss the origins of the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Products Program, a global standard for the design of safe, healthy products he co-created. He will demonstrate the importance of transparency and how it works in the marketplace, where trade secrets are a real part of most manufacturers’ business models. McDonough will also explore why material health is about much more than just materials.
