Kendra Johnson, Program Manager at Midwest High Speed Rail Association, will present the current high-speed rail proposals for the Chicago Region and next steps for integration with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) ON TO 2050 regional plan. Understand the implications of the proposal for greater regional connectivity and links to the other regional transit systems (CTA, Metra, Pace, Amtrak, etc.) and the impacts on transit-oriented development opportunities.
