The Radicant City: Sustainable Living Space

Alliance Francaise, 54 West Chicago Avenue, Chicago

Join us when German-born architect Jana Revedin, professor at the Ecole spéciale d'architecture in Paris, explains the history, sense and mission of the Global Awards for Sustainable Architecture which she founded. Each year, this award honors five living architects who move towards sustainability. The fifty-five architects from around the globe who have received the award believe in architecture “with the people for the people” and as an agent of empowerment, self-development and civic rights. The Global Awards is run by the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine, an architecture museum in Paris, under the patronage of UNESCO.

Lecture in English. Q&A in English, French, Italian or Spanish, all languages spoken by Jana Revedin.
