Better buildings to help people thrive – WELL v2
AIA Chicago, 35 East Wacker Drive, #250, Chicago
Better buildings to help people thrive. This is the simple but profound truth that has been at the center of a year-and-a-half of relentless work to take WELL to the next level. The WELL v2™ pilot was launched in May 2018 to try out the next version of the pioneering WELL Building Standard™.
Our speakers from the International WELL Building Institute in New York City are Dominic Ruiz and Jaclyn Whitaker, AIA, who will introduce the WELL v2 pilot, its scope, guiding principles, and key enhancements. They will begin with an overview of how WELL v2 was developed, summarize enhancements to the structure of the rating system, including expanded concepts, improved scoring, and more flexible pathways for projects. Key changes to the certification process and on-going initiatives will be discussed.
