USGBC-IL and AIA Chicago present a one-day conference: Building on the Best. Before 2015 ends, these two organizations will offer a full day of last-minute learning with sessions from some of the best speakers around. Earn 7.0 AIA/CES Learning Units (and HSW hours) and GBCI credential maintenance hours.
Our keynote speaker will be Dale Sands, senior vice president at AECOM Environment in Chicago, whom the firm named Global Director, metro strategy and resiliency planning, just last month. Dale’s new assignment focuses on the emerging growth area of climate resiliency for cities and building engagement between the public and private sector in AECOM’s environmental business. He works across AECOM’s regions and global cities initiatives, leveraging extensive work on climate resilience with the private sector and the United Nations, including the UNISDR Making My City Resilient Campaign, the RC-100 Cities program, and major NGOs. Previously, Dale was AECOM environment global technology and practices director.
