BuiltWorlds: Obama Presidential Center Competition Awards Ceremony

BuiltWorlds — in partnership with Arcbazar, Archeworks, CannonDesign, AIA Chicago, Dwell on Design, GreenApple Campus, Autodesk, and Forum8 — launched an online international design competition for the future Obama Presidential Center on Chicago’s South Side.
The unique, non-binding contest parallels the official Obama Foundation competition.
THE CONTEST
We asked the public, "What sort of Presidential Center would you design?" In response, more than 280 entrants, regardless of age, background, or geography, submitted designs.
A digital panel of 28 juror academics will narrow the field, and an in-person panel of 6 international juror practitioners decide the winning design on June 16 at the Obama Presidential Center Competition and Awards Ceremony at BuiltWorlds’ headquarters.
