Chicago Fire Code: The Changes You Need to Know

Chicago has recently adopted the International Building Code, which means some major changes in the way Architects, Glazing Contractors and other industry professionals think about balanced fire protection. Please join us as Thomas Zaremba, partner of Roetzel and Andress and the fenestration industry's IBC consultant, provides an outline of fire-rated glazing code requirements. He will also discuss code changes in the Chicago region and answer your questions.
Mr. Zaremba's practice focuses on advising and educating clients in all aspects of the development of national and local building codes and standards such as the DOE, EPA, ICC, NFRC, NFPA, and ANSI. He offers counsel to primary glass and window makers regarding all aspects of the development of U.S. building codes and standards affecting architectural glass and glazing.
