Join Katherine Darnstadt, AIA (Latent Design) as she leads a tour of her firm’s newest installation: Boombox, a micro-retail kiosk pop-up in Wicker Park that is a key component of the Chicago’s new public space initiative, Activate!, which Latent Design is also leading. Boombox received an AIA Chicago 2016 Small Project Award on May 5.
After the tour, Katherine will talk about the expanding role of architects through a case study of the Boombox, the future of micro architecture in Chicago, and how that fits into an urban design system.
