How BIM Changes Everything: A BIM Value Proposition

WeWork in The National, 125 South Clark Street, 17th floor, Chicago

Why do Architects and Designers need BIM?

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital methodology that eliminates non-transparency, enhances collaboration and coordination while allowing architects and interior designers to create digital design simulations, thus reducing risks and managing complete information associated with a project - all while engaging customers, bringing them into the process of the project's design progress.

So who is responsible for what in each project? How far does my responsibility go, and where does yours start?

BIM helps to order the complexity of this process. BIM incorporates 4-D (time) and 5-D (costs). This allows users to manage information intelligently throughout the life cycle of a multidisciplinary project, automating processes such as programming, conceptual design, detailed design, analysis, documentation, manufacturing, construction logistics, operation and maintenance, renovation and/or demolition. We can now create a seamless technology ecosystem that meaningfully brings all project stakeholders together.
