LAG Architektur und Schule: Teaching Children about Design

Raising citizens with an awareness of the importance of high quality and sustainable environments for everyone is the task of LAG Architektur und Schule (Architecture and School) program in the state of Bavaria, Germany.
Barbara Shatry, teacher at the Mittelschule Würzburg-Heuchelhof (Wurtzburg-Heuchelhof Middle School), will introduce us to the LAG program, a collaborative effort of architects and teachers with the support of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects and the Bavarian Ministry of Education, Culture, and Art.
LAG, with its 100 active members, reaches more than 1500 teachers in Bavaria. Please join us for a look at how LAG is helping educate students about the importance of architecture, design, and the environment.
