Start your morning with a talk by architect Oana Stanescu, founding partner of Family (New York City). Prior to establishing her own firm, Oana worked at a diverse array of award-winning offices around the world including Herzog & de Meuron, OMA, SANAA, and REX. She has contributed to architectural publications such as Domus, MARK and Abitare, and has co-taught a seminar at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University. She currently is involved in the +Pool project in New York, a Kickstarter-backed endeavor that involves installing a cross-shaped floating swimming pool in the East River. She has also worked with Kanye West on both tour sets and personal residential projects. Oana graduated from the University of Timisoara in Romania.
