On Affordable Housing: Presenting David Baker, FAIA

David Baker, FAIA, is the founding principal of David Baker Architects, a progressive firm based in San Francisco that creates acclaimed buildings in urban environments. David has guided and overseen the design of more than 13,000 homes and is a leader in multifamily urban housing, affordable housing, and issues of urban design. DBA has received more than 450 local, regional, and national architectural design honors. David was chosen by the AIA California Council as the 2012 Distinguished Practice, and in 2009 he received the Hearthstone Builders Humanitarian Award honoring the 30 most influential people in the housing industry in the past 30 years. His current projects include modular homeless housing, affordable family housing seeking net-zero carbon the Living Building Challenge Affordable Housing Pilot, and high-rise housing and a new hotel for Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay. 

David's presentation will begin PROMPTLY at 6:00 pm.
