Tod Williams and Billie Tsien - Presented by Pella Crafted Luxury

Tod Williams, FAIA and Billie Tsien, AIA believe "architecture is the coming together of art and use." Their firm, based in New York City, focuses on work for institutions including schools, museums, and not-for-profits, with their newest commission, the Obama Presidential Center, planned for Chicago. They will discuss what has influenced past projects and their design journey.
Over the past three decades Williams and Tsien have received more than two dozen awards including the National Medal of the Arts from President Obama, Firm of the Year Award from the American Institute of Architects, and most recently an AIA Honor Award for Architecture for the Logan Center for the Arts at the University of Chicago. Both partners have been inducted to the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
Tickets are $20, and all proceeds will be given to the Chicago Architecture Foundation.
Wine, beer and refreshments will be provided. Space is limited.
