What's new at the Pier? We will find out, thanks to architects from KOO. First we'll visit the site of the future Navy Pier hotel, where construction has begun, and the KOO team will explain their design. Then we'll continue to Offshore, the just-opened rooftop bar and restaurant, where the KOO team and the manager of Offshore will give us a tour. We'll end with time to socialize over a complementary glass of Prosecco. After that, you are on your own for drinks or food.
Offshore, on the third floor of Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, offers panoramic, unmatched views of Lake Michigan and the city skyline. This 36,000 sq. ft. all-seasons venue offers a full-service luminous bar and world-class kitchen, with a 20,000 square foot outdoor terrace that includes seven cozy fire pits, an entertainment and gaming area, and multiple large gathering spaces for social and corporate events, weddings, and much more. The culinary team is led by Executive Chef Michael Shrader, a protégé of Jeremiah Tower who is credited as a pioneer of contemporary California cuisine.
