Woods, Water, and Community: Results of the Beaubien Woods Design Charrette

This past May, AIA Chicago conducted a community design workshop in collaboration with the Forest Preserves of Cook County that focused on Beaubien Woods and adjacent neighborhoods located along 130th Street and the Little Calumet River. Learn what the group of sixty volunteer architects, landscape architects, planners and engineers envision to grow regional visitation, promote economic development, enhance the environment and elevate resident quality of life. Richard Wilson, AICP, Assoc. AIA (Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture) will be our presenter.
